I'm using a rental car – will I still be paid?
If you are temporarily using a rental vehicle, your mileage will be tracked and reimbursed as if you are driving your own vehicle. So yes, you will still be paid for the miles you drive!
Please note, if any driver using Cardata, and has their rental vehicle paid for by the company is not due their normal reimbursements for that time period.
Most drivers using a rental vehicle do not have to take additional action to ensure that they are reimbursed. Simply use Cardata as you usually would. However, you will need to take action if you work for a company that requires a monthly odometer reading, and you have not yet submitted your monthly reading.
If that is the case, you'll need to complete the following steps:
Open the side menu by tapping the three-line menu icon at the top left corner of your Driver Dashboard.
Tap Profile.
Tap the 'My Car' tab.
Tap Update odometer.
Tap Driving a rental or new car?
Tap Rental car.
Once you've informed us of the change, we'll be able to take the necessary steps on our end to ensure you receive an accurate reimbursement.
