I'm driving a rental car - do you still need my odometer?

In most cases, if you are temporarily using a rental vehicle, you will not need to submit a new odometer reading or alter any of your vehicle information. Just use the app exactly as you usually would.

However, you'll need to tell us that you're driving a rental car if both of the following applies to you:

  1. Your company requires a monthly odometer count submission.
  2. You have not yet submitted your monthly odometer count.

If both points above apply, follow these steps to let us know you're temporarily driving a rental.

  1. Open the side menu by tapping the three-line menu icon at the top left corner of your Driver Dashboard.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. Tap the 'My Car' tab. 


  4. Tap Update odometer.


  5. Instead of filling out your odometer count, tap Driving a rental or new car?


  6. Tap Rental car.


  7. After tapping Rental car, you'll get redirected to the Trips screen. If the update was successful, a brief "Your odometer was updated!" message will appear at the top of the Trips screen. Once you've informed us of the change, we'll be able to take the necessary steps on our end to ensure you receive an accurate reimbursement.
