What happens if a trip ends later than my scheduled tracking end time?
If you finish driving later than your original tracking end time, no worries! Any trip that begins within your scheduled tracking period will be captured and processed in its entirety, even if it ends later than your scheduled tracking end time.
The 8 minute rule
After your schedule ends for the day, Cardata assesses whether you’re driving every 8 minutes. If the app detects that you’re no longer driving, Cardata will assume that you have finished your workday and will stop processing trips until tracking is enabled again, either manually or automatically via the tracking schedule.
If Cardata detects that you’re still driving, it will continue capturing and processing trips until it detects that you’re no longer driving.
