How do I access the report builder?

To access the report builder, simply navigate to the Custom Report Builder dashboard, click the three-dot menu next to it, and select “Edit.” This opens the builder, where you can add or remove fields, apply filters, choose chart types, and customize your data view. No technical skills required.



What is a Data Model in Cardata Intelligence?

What are Attributes?

Attributes are categories or filters you can use to organize and drill into your data. Examples include:

  • Program type (for example, FAVR or CPM)
  • Department or location
  • Vehicle eligibility status

Attributes appear in blue and help you segment your data for clearer insights.

How do formulas work in the Report Builder?

You can create custom calculations directly in your reports, similar to how you might use Excel. For example, you can:

  • Calculate a driver’s average monthly mileage
  • Identify if any reimbursements fall below your internal minimum
  • Replace missing values with a default figure
