Send Scheduled Reports
Whether you are tracking overall program performance or monitoring specific segments like business trip activity or team-level adoption, Scheduled Report Alerts in Cardata Intelligence help you stay informed automatically.
Instead of logging in and applying filters each week, you can schedule alerts that come straight to your inbox.
There are three types of alerts you can create, depending on the level of detail you need:
ENTIRE DASHBOARD
Need to keep external stakeholders or cross-functional teams in the loop? Instead of exporting dashboards manually, you can now schedule recurring exports of any full dashboard view in Cardata Intelligence.
This is ideal for sharing high-level program metrics on a regular basis without requiring login access or extra steps.
- Set Your Filters
First, make sure your dashboard is displaying exactly what you want to share.
For example, if you want to send data filtered to the Cardata company only, apply that filter before scheduling
Open the Schedule Menu
Click the three-dot menu at the top right of the dashboard.
Select “Schedule” and then click “Create Schedule.”
- Customize Your Export
- Choose the frequency: daily, weekly, monthly, or custom
- Select the file format: PDF, Excel, or CSV
- Confirm your timezone and preferred delivery time
- Add Recipients
Enter the email addresses of everyone who should receive the dashboard.This can include internal users or external contacts who do not have access to Cardata.
- Create the Schedule
Once everything looks good, click Create Schedule and you’re done.

Regular KPI Updates
Use this when you want a snapshot of the entire chart on a regular schedule.
Example:
"Send me a weekly update every Monday at 9 a.m. showing the full Monthly Sales chart."
How to set it up:
- Go to any chart and click the bell icon in the top right corner.
- Select “Regular KPI Updates.”
- Choose your timezone
- Add any subscribers who should receive the report
- Set your delivery cadence (such as weekly or monthly) and time of day
- Click Create Alert
Everyone subscribed will receive the full chart exactly as it appears, at the time you selected.
REGULAR UPDATES ON VALUES OF AN ATTRIBUTE
Use this when you want to receive updates based on specific filters or data attributes.
Example:
"Send me a daily update at 9 a.m. for Monthly Sales, but only for the Marketing Team"
How to set it up:
- Click the bell icon on your chart
- Choose “Regular updates on values of an attribute”
- Apply your filters (for example, set Trip Type to Business or Product to A)
- Choose your frequency, time of day, and timezone
- Add any subscribers
- Click Create Alert
You will now receive recurring updates that only reflect the data you care about, based on your selected filters.
MANAGING ALERTS
If you need to make changes later:
- Return to the chart
- Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner
- Select “Manage Alerts”
From there, you can:
- View or update alert settings
- Add or remove subscribers
- Change the frequency or delivery time
- Unsubscribe or delete the alert
