The anatomy of the Tracking Toggle

When used correctly, the Tracking Toggle can be your go-to tool when it comes to monitoring or controlling trip tracking: it offers 360-degree insights into your tracking status while also functioning as your tracking control center.

Designed to best suit your specific needs, the Tracking Toggle wears a few different hats, depending on your tracking status and whether or not you choose to use a tracking schedule.

Let's check out these hats, shall we? 🎩

Tracking on

When the toggle is purple and reads "Tracking On," it means that Cardata Mobile is ready to record your trip as soon as you start driving.

Cardata Mobile's motion sensing technology recognizes when a trip ends and will automatically stop recording.

When the Tracking Toggle is light gray and reads "Tracking Off," Cardata Mobile is not recording or processing your trips. Any trip you take during this time will not be accessible to you, Cardata, or your employers.

If you have a tracking schedule, you can choose to disable tracking until your next scheduled tracking start time, or you can disable tracking until you manually turn it back on using the Tracking Toggle. Cardata Mobile will not resume trip tracking until you manually turn it on using the Tracking Toggle. Tap the underlined text to open your tracking schedule.

Tracking issues

For all users, a "Tracking Disabled" message will appear on your Tracking Toggle when there is a problem with your settings configurations. No trips will be recorded until you resolve these issues.
