How do I best stick to my company's lock date?
At the end of each active pay period, there is a “lock date.” After the lock date passes, you will no longer be able to add, edit, or delete trips for that month. Therefore, it’s essential that you add and classify all of your trips before the lock date rolls around. Where can I find my lock date?
There are a few things you can do to make it easier to adhere to lock dates:
- Classify your trips at the end of each day. When you do it regularly, you’ll never get overloaded with a huge list of trips to classify. Your future self will thank you!
- Verify that your trips have been accurately recorded every day so you can hit the lock date with confidence.
