How to configure your settings (Android)
Configuring your settings is the fourth step you'll need to complete as part of your onboarding.

Getting started
IMPORTANT: Specific terms and the general appearance of your screen may differ from what is shown in this article. If you’re having trouble, please get in touch with our support team.
After creating a password, you’ll get redirected to a ‘Set up your device’ screen. From here, you’ll set up your settings configurations.
Begin by tapping the Start button.
Allow location while using the app
By allow location while using the app, Cardata will be able to track your trips when tracking is on and the app is open.
- Tap Continue.
- A pop-up will appear. Tap While using the app.
Allow location all the time
Allowing location all the time will allow Cardata to capture your trips when tracking is on, even when the app is closed.
- Tap Continue.
- Select Allow all the time.
Allow physical activity
Cardata uses physical activity to detect when you're driving a vehicle.
- Tap Continue.
- A pop-up will appear. Tap the Allow button.
Let app always run in background
The app will run in the background, capturing trips when tracking is on.
- Tap Continue.
- A pop-up will appear. Tap the Allow button.
Allow unrestricted battery usage
Allowing unrestricted battery usage helps prevent your device from unexpectedly closing Cardata Mobile.
- Tap Allow.
- A pop-up will appear. Tap the Allow button.

Allow app notifications
Cardata will occasionally send you important updates and reminders.
- Tap Allow.
